Two illustration styles
At Illustraworld, we offer two styles of personalised minimalist illustration. We offer classic illustrations for 1 to 10 people and minimalist drawing. In both cases, a professional illustrator creates the drawing by hand.
The first style of illustration is a colourful drawing, using the elements of the photo. The background of the photo may be illustrated, and the eyes and nose may also be drawn.
In the second style, the drawing is in black and white. In fact, the illustrator will draw the outline of the photo in black. The illustrator does not draw the eyes and nose on this type of illustration. Similarly, the background of the photo cannot be drawn.
The main difference between these two styles is really the colour and the level of detail. The classic illustration will be more colourful, with bright or pastel colours depending on the mood you want. Similarly, the level of detail will be greater on a classic illustration. Minimalist illustrations, on the other hand, are more poetic and subtle.

The history of Illustraworld
So where does Illustraworld come from? It’s the brainchild of two childhood friends: Charlotte and Cyriane. The two young women have always loved the visual arts. At school, they spent all their free time visiting the museums in their home town of Lyon. Gradually, they became more interested in graphic design. Until the day they discovered personalised designs. It was love at first sight!
Charlotte and Cyriane immediately loved the fact that they could personalise a decorative object. In fact, personalising a product in this way makes it more of an objet d’art than a decorative object. They wanted to create something that was uniquely suited to the person for whom it was intended. Not something that could be sold in large quantities to lots of people. Personalised minimalist illustration was the perfect answer.
They launched Illustraworld in December 2021 and since then have produced hundreds of illustrations with their team of professional illustrators. Every day, customers all over France (and sometimes beyond!) trust them to turn their memories into personalised posters.
